Out of all of the get-rich-quick schemes you may have tried in the past, this could be the most lucrative. If chosen to be a contestant, you actually have the opportunity to win $1 million! In this economy who couldn’t stand to win a nice lump sum of money?
What’s the trick on getting cast? According to festival organizers, the show wants “energetic, charismatic and outgoing individuals who can think quickly on their feet.” Basically, show the produces that you are someone American can fall in love with and root for and you’re in. The Connecticut Irish Festival Kicks off on Saturday

North Haven’s annual Irish Festival is going on this weekend, June 27th and June 28th. It’s two days full of cultural events fun for the entire family.
The weekend begins on Saturday morning with the annual Irish Festival 5K road race. Whether you are an avid runner or one that prefers to walk, the Connecticut Irish Festival 5K is an invigorating way to kick off the weekend’s festivities. The race begins at 11:00 a.m. at the North Haven Fair Grounds and proceeds benefit the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association. There are many events other than the 5K to suit all types of athletic abilities and ages: .35 mile Fun Run, .7 mile Fun Run and a 2 mile fitness walk (you’ll want to check the Web site for these start times because they are different than the 5K). What’s the motivation to participate in the race? Last Week for the International Festival of Arts and Ideas

This week may be the first week of summer, but it is the last week for the International Festival of Arts & Ideas.
