It’s definitely the holiday season in Stamford as residents gear up for the Heights & Lights event. This is no ordinary tree lighting ceremony; the lighting of the town holiday tree is only a mere activity in an evening jam-packed with excitement. The festivities begin at 4:30 on December 6th at Landmark Square. The First Congregational Church and Unitarian Universalist Society will be passing out free hot chocolate to help keep attendees warm through the duration of the Heights & Lights event.
The event commences with Santa Claus repelling 22 stories from the top of Landmark Square. Once he makes it safely on the ground after his daredevil descent, follow him for the lighting of the holiday tree. Then, enjoy live music from The Broadway Kids and The K.T. Murhphy Chamber Singers. And the whole evening comes to a close with a magnificent fireworks display.
You don’t want to miss these exciting festivities that will surely get you in the holiday spirit. Residents at the Townhouse apartments can easily walk to the Heights and Lights event thanks to the convenience of their downtown Stamford location.
