On Saturday, October 17th, the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra is delighted to feature violin soloist Stefan Jackiw. This special event is actually the season opener for the 2009 – 2010 Symphony season. And, what a fantastic way to kick off the season.
At only twenty two, violinist Stefan Jackiw is recognized as one of the most significant artists of his generation with an exquisite insight and flawless technique that rivals many seasoned contemporaries. In the U.S., Mr. Jackiw has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Boston Pops.
We are incredibly excited to have such an amazing artist performing with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. This is a concert you do not want to miss. So make your way to the Norwalk Concert Hall on Saturday, October 17th. The show starts at 8 p.m.
