Tour Local Farms During Hamden Bike Ride

Do you ride your bike every weekend? Are you tire of the same old, same old scenery? Well, here is an opportunity for a break from the daily routine (or weekend routine as the case may be). Its the 2nd annual Tour des Farms bicycle ride in Hamden, CT on Sunday, August 1, 2010.
If you enjoy cycling, eating and music, you’ll love this ride. The 25 mile route will take riders to local farms, greenhouses, orchards, and historic sites around the New Haven area. Tickets are $25 for students, $25 for adults and $60 for families.
Along the way there will be stops, and at each stop, participants will be treated to the sounds of local Connnecticut musicians including Kate Callahan, John Ciambriello, Frank Critelli, and Brian Dolzani. The tour will end at Hamden’s Miller Cultural Complex with an outdoor evening concert with special guests, Caravan of Thieves.

This event is just one example of the many adventure/cultural events that take place in Hamden, Connecticut each year. Residents at Seramonte Apartments in Hamden and Montoya Apartments in Branford are encouraged to attend.
