Shady Beach Hosts Family Movie Nights

This Saturday night begins the outdoor summer film series at Shady Beach in Norwalk. The outdoor movies are scheduled for every other Saturday beginning this weekend. When it comes to family fun nights in Norwalk, this tops the cake! Each Saturday kicks off with a children’s activity at 6:00 with the movie following at dusk. There is only a $5 parking fee for cars without a Norwalk beach sticker, and that’s it! Now for the list of featured movies:

• Kung Fu Panda on July 11
• The Goonies on July 25
• Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa on August 8
• Bolt on August 22

Be sure to pack a jacket as the beach can get pretty breezy a night, but is there a better way to enjoy a movie than with your toes in the sand and a blanket of stars in the sky? So, mark these Saturdays in July and August for the “It’s 2 Cool Outdoor Movies.”
