Hamden Rental Apartments Near Great Upcoming Events at the Shubert

There are tons of great events for those living in our Seramonte community of Hamden rental apartments. One of our favorite local venues, the Shubert Theater, is just one place to enjoy all kinds of fun shows, from musicals to rock concerts and more. Coming up in February, there are a few can’t-miss events.

In early February, the Yale Opera is putting on a production of Mozart’s classic opera, Cosi Fan Tutti. The opera is presented in full Italian with English subtitles so that viewers can enjoy both the glorious singing and the engaging story. You can enjoy this from Feb. 10 through 12, and discounted student tickets are available.

You’re in for a real treat in mid-February when the State Ballet Theatre of Russia presents the Shakespearean classic Romeo and Juliet. If you have never seen a traditional play turned to ballet, then we heartily recommend that you check out this performance while tickets are still available. This performance is showing on Feb. 18, and would be a great Valentine’s Day weekend date.

In addition to these events, you can enjoy the blue humor of Lisa Lampanelli on Feb. 25. Born in Trumbull, Conn. in 1961, Ms. Lampanelli studied journalism at Syracuse University and Harvard. She very briefly enjoyed a career in the magazine industry, from Popular Mechanics to Rolling Stone. But in the early 90s, she decided to give standup comedy a try and has been very successful with her caustic routines. She is known as the “Queen of Mean,” and it sounds like catching her act would make for a fun evening to be had by all adults.
